Banana Nut Bread
Ingredients:
¾ C butter
8 oz cream cheese
2 C sugar
2 eggs
3 C flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
4 bananas (mashed)
1 C chopped pecans
½ tsp vanilla extract
Soften butter and cream cheese and beat until creamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Combine flour and other dry ingredients to butter mixture and beat until blended.
Stir in bananas, pecans, and vanilla.
Put batter into two greased and floured 8x4 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350 deg for 1 hour.
Shield with Al foil the last 15 min to prevent burning the tops.
